Wait a minute… who *are* you?

I’m glad you asked (and if you got that reference, you are my people!). I’m Kristina. I’m a writer and intuitive practitioner based in Brooklyn. Let’s get to the part you really want to know: Cancer sun, Leo moon, Virgo rising—in short, sensitive, proud, and thorough. For the better part of a decade, I’ve been studying tarot and astrology, and the ways the universe uses them as tools to guide us on our paths. If I’m not bothering you about your birth time, I’m probably bothering you about that time Harry Styles and Stevie Nicks did “Landslide” live at The Troubador in 2017.

My ethos

My ethos for reading is as follows: the cards are a tool to help you through the ebbs and flows of life. They’re not here to tell you when you’re going to die, the profession of your first spouse, or what shoes you should wear on Saturday. Rather, they serve as perfect totems to guide you towards your goals, assisting in manifesting the best version of yourself possible.

A preface for my reading style

I read using a traditional Rider Waite deck, the very same one I’ve been using since I first learned the tarot. It’s like a comfy leather jacket at this point, something I’ve worn time and time again, to the point where it’s formed to every curve of my body. They say your deck chooses you, and I definitely feel mine chose me!

I honor reversals in my readings. In essence, that means if a card appears “upside down” in a reading, I interpret the meaning in a loose reverse of its original meaning. Not all readers honor reversals, but I have always found them true to my practice.
